DIGITAL PORTFOLIO. MODUL 1: THE UNIT PLAN AND SWOT ANALYSIS ABOUT CLIL

First thing I learnt about CLIL is that its goal is not language in itself but communication. That means grammar is absorved along the real learning subject; maths, sciences, and so on. Obviously this implies to accept important challenges, for instance the level of the pupils to start might be poor.  Moreover, English teachers usually are reluctant to CLIL method cause they don't understand learning as interaction between language, thought and performance as CLIL propose on my view. CLIL is an opportuny, another tool that contribute to develop knowledge and learning but it is necessary to prevent and foresee both weakness and threats I pointed out on my SWOT analysis. (Watch previous post about SWOT analysis) That's why we teachers have to plan acuratelly the whole process. ( Watch previous post about unit plan)
In other hand,  Anyone to help with a doubt? I've never taught English neither want to, but I'd like teach core's subjects in a second language (I also do speak French) Which of the subjects from the core do you think would be easy ( both for the students and for teacher)to start implement CLIL in my school?
Last but not least, the problem I see as the main bone of contention is get an agreement in the staff ,which I see as a basis for get the success. This is the problem I have. Do you share this opinions and doubts?
In this post I'm sharing with you my SWOT analysis about CLIL. As you will see, I've found more advantatges than drawbacks, though the number of items in each department,  the positive aspects are more influent in my thought.
